In shelter Cat

West Orange, NJ, 07052
Pet name:
Domestic Short Hair
Black & White / Tuxedo
Coat length:
Gibby is three years old and an elegant cat, her svelte physique mimicking that of a panther more than your typical cat. She demands love whenever her foster comes to care for her, greeting her with incessant head butts and ankle rubs. She loves to be petted and to have her luxurious black and white coat brushed. She has been in foster care since she was a kitten.

Gibby’s affection doesn’t come easy, however. She is very skittish in new situations and when around people she is not familiar with, typically hiding or watching from a distance. She’ll need your patience as she transitions into a new space but, undoubtedly, with time, she will earn your love. And, we believe it will be worth it!

Our adoption fee is $195, and if adopting two, the second cat/kittens fee is $145. The adoption fee covers, spay/neuter, a wellness visit to the veterinarian, vaccinations for FVRCP (distemper) & rabies, and an FIV/FeLV test.

FindpetTM is a Participating Pet Recovery Service Registry for the AAHA Universal Pet Microchip Lookup Tool. AAHA provides an internet-based application that enables veterinarians, humane organizations, pet owners or other persons to search various Pet Recovery Service registries and identify those registries on which a particular microchip is registered. AAHA is not affiliated or involved with any specific microchip registry and has no relationship, financial or otherwise, with this Participating Pet Recovery Service Registry ("Registry"). This Registry has given AAHA permission to search the Registry's database in order to assist pet owners in being reunited with their pets. AAHA does not maintain a database of microchips of its own. It only links to registries such as this one. The AAHA Universal Microchip Lookup Tool only searches the databases of companies that elect to participate in the program.
