In shelter Dog

Fort Collins, CO, 80524
Pet name:
Dutch Shepherd

Mocha is 5 years old and 60lbs

Thinking about getting a dog but worried about the stress of a kennel when you travel? This cutie comes with a built-in babysitter (current foster mom)!

Mocha is a sweet, fun girl who likes to relax inside the house, but will warn you about someone approaching outside. While she loves attention & snuggles, she typically waits to be petted. She loves to play, explore, & run outside.

Comes when called, walks easily on a leash, rides happily in the car, & is fully housebroken. She is crate trained & learns quickly. Near you is her favorite place, & she gladly supervises humans without being in the way.

Mochas ideal home is with humans age 14+ and no cats. She will be happy either as a solo pet or with dogs who like to play & share personal space. She needs an experienced adopter to advocate for her in public & with visitors, as proper introduction to strangers is required.

For a Sniff & Fall in Love Meeting, contact us today! Why rehoming? Adopted by Foster to avoid length of stay euthanasia by shelter. Video link:

FindpetTM is a Participating Pet Recovery Service Registry for the AAHA Universal Pet Microchip Lookup Tool. AAHA provides an internet-based application that enables veterinarians, humane organizations, pet owners or other persons to search various Pet Recovery Service registries and identify those registries on which a particular microchip is registered. AAHA is not affiliated or involved with any specific microchip registry and has no relationship, financial or otherwise, with this Participating Pet Recovery Service Registry ("Registry"). This Registry has given AAHA permission to search the Registry's database in order to assist pet owners in being reunited with their pets. AAHA does not maintain a database of microchips of its own. It only links to registries such as this one. The AAHA Universal Microchip Lookup Tool only searches the databases of companies that elect to participate in the program.
