1 year old Eduarda is looking for a home! Eduarda, is a Shepherd cross, currently weighing 25 lbs (she may grow to about 40 lbs). Eduarda and her sister were found undernourished and scavenging on the streets in Puerto Vallarta Mexico when they were found and taken into by the SPCA PV. Eduarda at some point suffered an injury to her front leg which was not treated (likely as she suffered on the streets with her sister taking care of her), and it healed poorly. Unfortunately, it can’t be fixed, but she doesn’t let that stop her as she enjoys playing with her sister as they celebrate being safe and fed! Solid nutrition and some natural joint supplements would be welcome, and when needed she benefits from using a splint. Eduarda can be a little shy when meeting strangers but she is loving and affectionate. She is medium energy and good with dogs. She is curious about kittens and may chase, but doesn’t seem to chase older cats. Her sister is headed to Victoria - wouldn’t it be amazing if they could reconnect as Canadians! Eduarda can fly to Canada on October 23rd for pick-up in Vancouver. The adoption fee is 550 USD. Please email pvcaadoptions@gmail.com if you think you might be her happy ever after the family.
