Hi, my name is Shadie, but my nickname is Sadie. Im around three and a half years old. My original family surrendered me to GPRS in September 2021 because they wanted me to stay with the farm animals, but I wanted to be with them. I love to be petted, brushed, and near people.

Are there people that want a dog like me? A family companion that they prefer to be around to pet? I can be a little shy at first, but you would be too if you got pushed away a lot. But with your reassurance that you want me around, I will learn to trust and love you. My foster family says, "I am a sweet dog and love everyone I get to know."

Id like to find a family that wants only one dog. I enjoy walking, jogging, and playing fetch with a kong. I am more of an inside dog than an outdoors dog, house-trained, and have no desire to be on the furniture. I appreciate a nice quiet place to sleep in the house.

As you can see from her bio, Shadie is a good dog and would make a very loyal family companion when given a chance. She would be fine with teenage kiddos.
