Description:
Thelma has the best puppy dog eyes, doesnt she?

A pup with personality PLUS! She is very friendly, playful, gentle and is a sweetheart. Goofy and sweet - isnt that a fun combo? Thelma could be an only dog as long as her family spent lots of time playing and entertaining her, taking her to doggie day care, or having pup friends to hang out with. Thelma shares her toys nicely with other pups as well.

Shes SUPER easy and low maintenance! Her independent style does not require someones full attention at all times. She comes around a bit slowly to strangers but warms up well.

Thelma is great with other dogs and is also great with her fosters son. She loves getting those silly zoomies, and it is so cute! She would love other pups in the house to play with and a large fenced yard to run and round and play. She is a high energy dog that needs the ability to run and play to burn excess energy. She loves to be outside as much as possible so a solid 6 ft fence is definitely needed.

She is smart and can be a good escape artist; we want her family to be aware she can be a flight risk if provided the opportunity to run. So even though she is gentle and good with kids, toddlers or those too young to understand accidently leaving doors open would be unsafe for this speedy girl.

This girl wants a home with lots of windows that she can look out at the world outside. She likes watching the world go bye.

She is already house trained and crate trained as well. She is learning how to walk nicely on a leash and still needs patience and practice. The hound in her brings out her curious and independent nature. Part of this gets her in a little bit of trouble...like counter surfing if you arent paying attention and positively enforcing the correct behavior.

She is a 2-year-old, 37lb female Hound mix. As part of Thelmas $250 adoption fee, she is spayed, microchipped, up to date on vaccines, and current on her monthly flea/tick and heartworm preventatives.
