Description:
FANCY is a 2-year-old female Husky mix that weighs just 50 lbs. She is the perfect candidate for our our Paws Behind Bars prison dog training program where she is "sharing" her energy with her inmate. Shes very outgoing and friendly, but, boy, is she an "energizer bunny!" Wiggle, wiggle, hop, twist, shes got the moves! Dogs like this take a while to compose, but the inmates get it done every time. She loves other dogs and would be fine with older children. Fancy will need just the right home - a home thats on the go! Shell make a great outdoors companion, she would be a good running buddy, shell jump right into water and shell get along well with another young dog. A family familiar with huskys would be preferable. and preferably someone familiar with huskys.

We are currently accepting applications and our process begins with submission of the online application which can be found at www.adoptmebluegrasspetrescue.com.

Meets will be set with approved applicants.

FindpetTM is a Participating Pet Recovery Service Registry for the AAHA Universal Pet Microchip Lookup Tool. AAHA provides an internet-based application that enables veterinarians, humane organizations, pet owners or other persons to search various Pet Recovery Service registries and identify those registries on which a particular microchip is registered. AAHA is not affiliated or involved with any specific microchip registry and has no relationship, financial or otherwise, with this Participating Pet Recovery Service Registry ("Registry"). This Registry has given AAHA permission to search the Registry's database in order to assist pet owners in being reunited with their pets. AAHA does not maintain a database of microchips of its own. It only links to registries such as this one. The AAHA Universal Microchip Lookup Tool only searches the databases of companies that elect to participate in the program.
