When Kira first came in to our shelter, she was vfrightened and confused, with overgrown nails and muddy fur. As a short term foster once said about her, I dont think she has ever been shown much love or how to just be a dog... With enough patience and love Kira has come a long way. She loves hugs and cuddles and enjoys being around people - she sleeps best when there are people in the room with her. Fast movements can spook her so a home without small children would be best, but shes loving living with a cat (she just needed a very slow introduction to get along with her feline friend). Kira can be slow to warm up to new people, but once shes had a moment shes a total sweetie! Shes also very smart - shes already learned to sit and lay down on command. Her personality shows through more by the day!
