In shelter Dog

Chico, CA, 95973
Pet name:
Jack Russell Terrier
Hi my name is Oceane and I originally came from a dog hoarding case. When I arrived at the rescue, I wasnt very sociable. In fact, I tried to bite almost everyone that got near me, and I was quite the terror! As it turns out, I was pregnant when I came to the rescue. When I gave birth to my puppies, I underwent a major transformation. No more was I the fearful and reactive dog that required caution. Instead, I was curious, attentive to my caregivers, and quite loving once I got to know them. I was such a good momma, I took great care of my pups and even let my caregivers get close and touch my babies. I get really excited when someone comes by my kennel. I get up on my back legs and do a happy dance; if you pick me up I nuzzle into your arms and give kisses. Please give me a chance, my behavior around new people isnt a reflection of the sweetheart that I am. I may bark or act unsure when we first meet, but if you are willing to work with me I am an incredible dog. I am looking for someone who is patient and understands that I might need some time to become comfortable and thrive. I will need some special one on one time, but once I know and trust you, we will be inseparable.

FindpetTM is a Participating Pet Recovery Service Registry for the AAHA Universal Pet Microchip Lookup Tool. AAHA provides an internet-based application that enables veterinarians, humane organizations, pet owners or other persons to search various Pet Recovery Service registries and identify those registries on which a particular microchip is registered. AAHA is not affiliated or involved with any specific microchip registry and has no relationship, financial or otherwise, with this Participating Pet Recovery Service Registry ("Registry"). This Registry has given AAHA permission to search the Registry's database in order to assist pet owners in being reunited with their pets. AAHA does not maintain a database of microchips of its own. It only links to registries such as this one. The AAHA Universal Microchip Lookup Tool only searches the databases of companies that elect to participate in the program.
