Poppy is a good girl! She is sweet and well-behaved dog. Poppy loves other dogs and is now in a foster home with another dog where they share everything. She is active when outdoor and loves to go on walks. At home, she is mellow and loves to be close by. Poppy is a very smart girl and learns everything at a fast pace. She knows basic commands and quick to learn new tricks. She is gentle on the leash, good in car rides, and enjoys the doggie parks. Poppy is house-trained and crate-trained. Poppy is a wonderful girl and will make a good family dog.

Poppy and her brother, Tacco, were homeless pups living in a remote mountain area where there are no food and shelter. Both of them are very smart and found shelter in a tomb area. They kept each other company and love each other very much. A kind lady was in the area and bought some food to feed them and they were starving and finished the food in a few seconds. The next day, she went back to take some photos of them and sent out many emails to different rescue groups hoping to help them. Weeks went by and no one was willing to help them as they are black dogs. The lady tried very hard and her vet referred her to their now foster mom. The foster mom knew it was urgent to save them. They worked together and spend the whole morning trying to lure them with food and were able to rescue them. They were rushed to the vet for a complete checkup. Luckily, they are all healthy.

Poppy has been vaccinated, spayed, de-wormed, microchip, and passed negative on her blood tests. Please give Poppy a home where she will not be left behind.
