Zyra is a sweet and happy girl! She is friendly with people, gentle with children, and good with dogs of all sizes. Zyra has been through a rough start in life. She can be shy with new people at first. She is doing very well in her foster home and ready for her forever home. Zyra walks well on leash and enjoys her trips to the dog park. She started some leash training and is learning at a good pace. She is crate-trained and doing well on her housetraining. Zyra rides well in the car and can wait patiently while her foster mom runs errands. We are looking for a committed family to continue training and socialization.

ZYRA’s Rescue Story

Poor Zyra was abandoned in a remote mountain. She was starving and was wandering around looking for food. A kind rescuer got off her car and was quickly able to pick her up.

The kind rescuer reached out to an experienced rescue organization hoping they can take her in. The founder of the rescue organization has over 180 dogs waiting for home. She really does not have the space to take in another dog. However, she cannot bear to see Zyra starving on the streets all alone. The founder agreed to take Zyra home and promised to find her a loving forever home.

Zyra adjusted well once she arrived at the founder’s home. All her rescued dogs welcomed her to the pack. She slept through the night peacefully in a warm cozy bed. The next day, she was so happy running around and playing with the dogs.

Zyra has been spayed, vaccinated, microchip, and passed negative on her blood tests. Please give Zyra a loving forever home to grow up.

FindpetTM is a Participating Pet Recovery Service Registry for the AAHA Universal Pet Microchip Lookup Tool. AAHA provides an internet-based application that enables veterinarians, humane organizations, pet owners or other persons to search various Pet Recovery Service registries and identify those registries on which a particular microchip is registered. AAHA is not affiliated or involved with any specific microchip registry and has no relationship, financial or otherwise, with this Participating Pet Recovery Service Registry ("Registry"). This Registry has given AAHA permission to search the Registry's database in order to assist pet owners in being reunited with their pets. AAHA does not maintain a database of microchips of its own. It only links to registries such as this one. The AAHA Universal Microchip Lookup Tool only searches the databases of companies that elect to participate in the program.
