Description:
Hi! Im Lindy. Im the sweetest, happiest, most loving girl - no one can understand why someone hasnt taken me home yet. Neither can I! I LOVE people more than anything. I will lay my head on your lap so you can pet me. Im working on my leash training and improving so much already. Im well-behaved and great on car rides. Im beautiful with a shiny black coat. Im very energetic - definitely not a couch potato kind of girl! At the shelter, Im a little crazy pants, but when Im out or in a home Im a totally different girl. Im not a big fan of cats or small dogs, though. The staff and volunteers here are wonderful and love me so much, but I am started to become very stressed out. I did collapse a couple of times and it was discovered that I have an enlarged heart. I really need a special someone to adopt or foster me who will love me and treat me like a family member and limit my time outdoors in the heat. I would love it if you would adopt me or foster me. If you can foster me, I can be part of DFW Rescue Mes Guest Dog Program (guestdog@dfwrescueme.org). What this means is you would foster me (hooray!), network me on social media (Im very photogenic), and bring me to adoption events to help me get adopted. Please come meet me and take me home so we can start our life of adventure together. Ask for Lindy!

FindpetTM is a Participating Pet Recovery Service Registry for the AAHA Universal Pet Microchip Lookup Tool. AAHA provides an internet-based application that enables veterinarians, humane organizations, pet owners or other persons to search various Pet Recovery Service registries and identify those registries on which a particular microchip is registered. AAHA is not affiliated or involved with any specific microchip registry and has no relationship, financial or otherwise, with this Participating Pet Recovery Service Registry ("Registry"). This Registry has given AAHA permission to search the Registry's database in order to assist pet owners in being reunited with their pets. AAHA does not maintain a database of microchips of its own. It only links to registries such as this one. The AAHA Universal Microchip Lookup Tool only searches the databases of companies that elect to participate in the program.
