Please contact Kady Hammer ( for more information about this pet.young girl ready to play! CHELSEA NEEDS A FOSTER OR FOREVER HOME!!!!
Name: Chelsea Best Guess for Breed: Lab and shepherd mix
Best Guess for Age: 1.5 years as of September 2022 SEX: Female

Approximate Weight: 45 lbs

Gets Along With: Chelsea does well with other dogs and has lived with dogs. We havent seen her with kids but she can be tested. We have tested Chelsea with some of the cats at the shelter, and she did not seem particularly interested in chasing or pouncing on the cat. While this is a positive sign that Chelsea could live with a cat, she has not done so to our knowledge. If you have cats in your home, we are happy to discuss with you how to best introduce a new pup to your pack!

Currently Living at: South Carolina shelter. Needs a foster or forever home in the DC area to come up here! If youre interested in fostering Chelsea, see below for more information!

Chelsea is Looking For: Her forever family! She has all that young-dog energy; shes eager to get her own humans for long walks, romps in the park, and all those adventures awaiting them. Shes looking forward to exploring all the toys as well - plush ones to squeak? Balls for fetch? Ropes for tug? Yes, please lets try them all and see which she likes best! But what she desires most of all is to know shes under her own roof, safe and loved, for all her days. In exchange for that and scratches and pats, she promises adoring gazes and loyal companionship. What do you say? Does that sound like a great deal to you?
What My Foster Says About Me: We will update this once she has arrived in the DC area and spent some time with her foster

FindpetTM is a Participating Pet Recovery Service Registry for the AAHA Universal Pet Microchip Lookup Tool. AAHA provides an internet-based application that enables veterinarians, humane organizations, pet owners or other persons to search various Pet Recovery Service registries and identify those registries on which a particular microchip is registered. AAHA is not affiliated or involved with any specific microchip registry and has no relationship, financial or otherwise, with this Participating Pet Recovery Service Registry ("Registry"). This Registry has given AAHA permission to search the Registry's database in order to assist pet owners in being reunited with their pets. AAHA does not maintain a database of microchips of its own. It only links to registries such as this one. The AAHA Universal Microchip Lookup Tool only searches the databases of companies that elect to participate in the program.
