Apple is an incredibly sweet senior lady. After being brought to the shelter as an underweight, nervous stray, she has benefited from spending time in a foster home where she can get lots of love, attention, and playtime. She has lived successfully with cats and will need to meet any potential canine companions to ensure compatibility. At approximately twelve years old, Apple still has a lot of pep. When she is outside, Apple is playful and is overjoyed to run around! Indoors, Apple is more reserved and content to snooze in her comfy bed.

While still anxious at times, Apple is seeking a patient owner who will give her plenty of time to settle into a new home and new routine. Apple will still benefit from positive reinforcement to increase her confidence, but with some love, patience and understanding, were sure shell melt your heart!

Apple needs a home with another dog, or multiple, as this will greatly help her adjust into her new surroundings.

FindpetTM is a Participating Pet Recovery Service Registry for the AAHA Universal Pet Microchip Lookup Tool. AAHA provides an internet-based application that enables veterinarians, humane organizations, pet owners or other persons to search various Pet Recovery Service registries and identify those registries on which a particular microchip is registered. AAHA is not affiliated or involved with any specific microchip registry and has no relationship, financial or otherwise, with this Participating Pet Recovery Service Registry ("Registry"). This Registry has given AAHA permission to search the Registry's database in order to assist pet owners in being reunited with their pets. AAHA does not maintain a database of microchips of its own. It only links to registries such as this one. The AAHA Universal Microchip Lookup Tool only searches the databases of companies that elect to participate in the program.
