Phoebe is an elegant 2-year old 16-pound girl, who came to us from the Hitchcock Road shelter severely matted and covered in foxtails. Once she was groomed, a real beauty emerged. Phoebe is a sweet girl who enjoys being petted and cuddling with her people and she is friendly with new people she meets. Phoebe has a good amount of energy and she loves to play with toys, chew on nylabones, and she also likes to play with other dogs. She is working on some of her basic commands and house training and is doing well. She is already crate trained, knows her name, and comes when called. She is still learning to walk on a leash/harness so will require a patient adopter that is willing to work on her basic training. Phoebe will do best in an adult home with children over 6 years old.
Phoebe will require regular grooming to avoid future mats. Phoebe is currently in foster care. Meet and greets can be arranged once an online application has been received and approved.
