Description:
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Pumpkin was born at our shelter on June 24, 2020, and was adopted when she was 10 weeks old. She was returned after a year as she was too much energy for the young kids in the family. Pumpkin is a very active and fun loving girl. Her mother was a pit bull type dog but we dont know about the dad. Pumpkin is a gorgeous gal who has been fully vetted. Her fee of $125 is sponsored by one of our volunteers and her family.

Pumpkin needs basic training and a lot of good, consistent exercise. She is definitely not a dog for a couch potato lifestyle. She would do best as the only pet in the home. We think she would be fine with older kids. Pumpkin is happy and ready for adventure!

Pumpkin really needs someone to take a chance on her. The shelter is not good for her and shes losing weight and is very stressed. We wont give up on her!

NOTE: Adoptions are done via private appointment once an application has been completed and approved. Applications can be submitted at our website, mchs.rescuegroups.org.

We are located at 101 22nd St. SE in Austin, right next to the airport. Its exit 180B off of I-90, right off of 218 South.

We do require that potential adopters be at least 21 years old and that any resident dogs be up to date on vaccinations, heartworm testing/preventative, and spayed or neutered.

FindpetTM is a Participating Pet Recovery Service Registry for the AAHA Universal Pet Microchip Lookup Tool. AAHA provides an internet-based application that enables veterinarians, humane organizations, pet owners or other persons to search various Pet Recovery Service registries and identify those registries on which a particular microchip is registered. AAHA is not affiliated or involved with any specific microchip registry and has no relationship, financial or otherwise, with this Participating Pet Recovery Service Registry ("Registry"). This Registry has given AAHA permission to search the Registry's database in order to assist pet owners in being reunited with their pets. AAHA does not maintain a database of microchips of its own. It only links to registries such as this one. The AAHA Universal Microchip Lookup Tool only searches the databases of companies that elect to participate in the program.
