Meet Ginger.

Once upon a time there was a girly named Ginger, an unhoused 4- or 5-year-old pit mix in a high-risk kill shelter. When, one day, I was adopted into a family with another dog! The only problem? Small dogs, puppies, and cats are not my jam. So, they returned me, back to the high-risk kill shelter; can you believe that? Anyway, so again, I am sitting here, in this stinky shelter with all my beauty, love, and energy going to waste when PETronus found me and took me in as a foster! The End.

HA, just kidding! Lets get to the juicy stuff. Like I mentioned, I have a lot of energy and of course I need to work it out just like any other living creature on this planet. Not to be bougie or anything but I am going to be bougie, an apartment isnt going to cut it. With all that being said, I love playtime in the backyard! I also wont be leaving the great state of Texas; the grass is just different here and I would miss it too much. Dont let my adoption history deter you, I am good with other dogs my size or bigger and I love humans. Although I am very outgoing, playful, smart, potty-trained, beautiful, warm, entertaining, loyal, good-natured, athl- oh, sorry, I got distracted. Ill try again...although I am very outgoing, I prefer to keep it in the fences of the home. I was never socialized much when I was younger so I get a bit nervous outside of the house. I hope to find a fur-ever loving home that seeks make many memories with me!

All PETronus Rescue dogs receive basic vaccinations (distemper/parvo, bordetella, & rabies), spay/ neuter, and microchip prior to adoption. We also treat any know medical issues, including heartworms.

Our dogs live in foster homes while they wait patiently for their forever families to find them. This is beneficial in that they learn house manners, crate training, housebreaking, etc while they wait and we are also able to get a very realistic picture of their energy level, temperament, etc so that we can place them in a home that is the best fit.

Our adoption fees are $200 for dogs over 1 year of age and $250 for dogs under 1 year of age. Puppies receive 3 rounds of puppy vaccinations.

If you are interested in adopting one of our amazing dogs, please fill out our adoption application here http://bit.ly/PRAdoption and we will be in touch!
