Description:
Meet this beautiful girl named Zaleah! She originally came into the shelter January 28, 2020 when her owner could no longer keep her. She was just 10 months old. She has been shuffled around a lot and is now back as of February 2022 when she went killed some chickens and owner could no longer keep her. She’s 3 years old, fully vetted, house broken and just a love. She loves to run and play fetch with a tennis ball and would love a home with a tall privacy fenced in yard for her to play in…she can climb well if chain link. Her owner said she does not like being crated and will escape so not to bother with a crate for her. We were told she’s good with children and can selective with canines. At the shelter she’s stressed so socializing there is hard. She does play hard which may aggravate some dogs. Such a beautiful girl with so much happiness and love to offer. Might you have the perfect FOREVER home for Zaleah?! Stop by for a visit with her today!
If you have another dog and are interested in meeting another potential new furry member please bring him or her to the shelter and meet on neutral ground before adopting. No need to shuffle the animals around any more than necessary. Please know that 1 mosquito bite can create heart worms and they can be fatal if not treated. It is VERY important to keep your pets healthy and protected by keeping them on a once a month heart worm and flea/tick prevention. These animals are counting on you as their owner to provide them with lots a love and the proper health care so PLEASE make sure you are aware and prepared before adopting. Owning a pet is an extra expense and responsibility but is so worth every minute and penny you invest in them. They will add lots of joy and unconditional love if given a fair chance.
The shelter is open Mon.-Fri. 10-1, 2-5 and Sat. 10-4. Adopt a homeless pet and save a life. If you can not adopt right now come out and volunteer and make a difference in the lives of these animals while they await their FOREVER home.

FindpetTM is a Participating Pet Recovery Service Registry for the AAHA Universal Pet Microchip Lookup Tool. AAHA provides an internet-based application that enables veterinarians, humane organizations, pet owners or other persons to search various Pet Recovery Service registries and identify those registries on which a particular microchip is registered. AAHA is not affiliated or involved with any specific microchip registry and has no relationship, financial or otherwise, with this Participating Pet Recovery Service Registry ("Registry"). This Registry has given AAHA permission to search the Registry's database in order to assist pet owners in being reunited with their pets. AAHA does not maintain a database of microchips of its own. It only links to registries such as this one. The AAHA Universal Microchip Lookup Tool only searches the databases of companies that elect to participate in the program.
