Ridge is a sweet girl, shes just about a year old and 40 lbs. Ridge is looking for a home to call her own. This playful, sweet nugget is a very happy girl with a tail that wags non stop! Ridge loves cuddling, belly rubs, bones, and playing with other dogs. She is still young though and undersocialized, so she can play a little hard sometimes, getting over stimulated and not knowing when to stop. She is currently fostered with a dog and if paired with another dog in the adoptive home, it would need to be one who can keep up with her energy, but also appropriately let her know when the games are over. She needs slow introductions to other dogs as she can be reactive and come on a little strong. Because of this, owners with dog experience would be best. Ridge is such as smart sweet girl, she responded well to structure and training, which can help her be the perfect furry companion.

According to her foster mom, Ridge loves sleeping in each morning and will not get out of bed without a certain level of coaxing. She is house trained and crate trained, but can be a bit strong on leash. Ridge has never lived with cats, but her foster down south believed that she would most likely chase them, based on her reactions to other small animals on walks. She has also never lived with children, and because of her energy and behaviors, we would be looking for homes without littler ones, instead closer to teenaged years. Ridge would be an amazing companion to any family!
