2205-0630 Ziki

In shelter Dog

Virginia Beach, VA, 23451
Pet name:
2205-0630 Ziki
Pit Bull Terrier
ZIKI - 1-5 years old, 50 pounds, no other pets, no kids, friendly, pulls hard on leash, deaf.

ZIKI sat quietly in her cage so I assumed shed be quiet outside. Boy was I wrong! ZIKI is a happy jubilant friendly girl who pulled me almost ready the place in her excitement at getting outside. Yes, shes a puller and especially when she sees another dog so she needs training to learn to focus on her owner. She is also a strong girl I might add! Ziki was found as a stray! Crazy! This funny bouncy girl clearly got lost and unfortunately never reclaimed. ZIKI is also deaf so potential adopters should be prepared to never let her off leash unless shes in a secure enclosed area. When trying to get photos to show off Zikis cute as can be polka dotted ears and her shiny white fur where only a few polka dots are present, she was very busy sniffing everywhere. To get her attention I had to physically touch her and show her the treat. Potential adopters should be prepared to invest in training and special care. ZIKI is fun fun fun but there are def considerations one must think about before adopting. Call us at 385-4444 or go to our Facebook page and make an appointment to meet her! Bring your dogs and older kids to meet her, too!

FindpetTM is a Participating Pet Recovery Service Registry for the AAHA Universal Pet Microchip Lookup Tool. AAHA provides an internet-based application that enables veterinarians, humane organizations, pet owners or other persons to search various Pet Recovery Service registries and identify those registries on which a particular microchip is registered. AAHA is not affiliated or involved with any specific microchip registry and has no relationship, financial or otherwise, with this Participating Pet Recovery Service Registry ("Registry"). This Registry has given AAHA permission to search the Registry's database in order to assist pet owners in being reunited with their pets. AAHA does not maintain a database of microchips of its own. It only links to registries such as this one. The AAHA Universal Microchip Lookup Tool only searches the databases of companies that elect to participate in the program.
