Description:
Meet Sissy! She is about 2.5 months old and may have some Lab in her mix, based on looks. In her foster home, Sissy is working on house-training, but has no experience in a crate and has not yet walked on leash. She could go to a forever home with other dogs, cats, and/or respectful children 5+.

Her foster says: "Sissy is a very playful puppy. She likes people and loves playing with people. We bought each of the puppies a toy and gave to them. She will bark at the other puppies if they get her toy. (A little hint though, she will bark over anything.). I believe that she might be a little young with treats, but she is coming around. She will take the treat in her mouth, then drop it. She will come back later and search for it. It needs to be there!!! Sissy is a joy to be around. She is sweet and playful. She is the puppy that everybody loves and is a real cutie to boot."

Adopters will be home for most of the day (e.g., work from home, dog friendly office, stay at home, etc.) to provide their puppy with daily, positive, new experiences with people and other dogs, and life skills through training. Adopters will need to teach their puppy house-training and crate-training. Enrolling in a puppy training class with a certified positive reinforcement dog trainer is required for adoption.

She is available for direct adoption with an approved adopter in N. Dartmouth on September 30th. Please fill out an application on our website as a first step.

- Please thoughtfully discuss with your entire household the physical, financial, and emotional responsibilities of a puppy/dog BEFORE applying to adopt.

FindpetTM is a Participating Pet Recovery Service Registry for the AAHA Universal Pet Microchip Lookup Tool. AAHA provides an internet-based application that enables veterinarians, humane organizations, pet owners or other persons to search various Pet Recovery Service registries and identify those registries on which a particular microchip is registered. AAHA is not affiliated or involved with any specific microchip registry and has no relationship, financial or otherwise, with this Participating Pet Recovery Service Registry ("Registry"). This Registry has given AAHA permission to search the Registry's database in order to assist pet owners in being reunited with their pets. AAHA does not maintain a database of microchips of its own. It only links to registries such as this one. The AAHA Universal Microchip Lookup Tool only searches the databases of companies that elect to participate in the program.
