Jayne is a sweet 6 year-old girl. She is bouncy and energetic and would love an active home. Jayne loves going for walks in her harness and loves to run and play ball in our fenced pen. She is not an apartment dog and will need someone who will walk her on leash or who has a fenced yard. Jayne can be reactive when cornered and has run loose in the past, so for her safety, she should not be let off-leash. 

Jayne would do best in an adult only home with no children and no cats. She enjoys wrestling and playing with other submissive male dogs, especially with her son Buddy (who is at the shelter and needs a home) and has some patented wrestling moves. While Jayne enjoys playing with other dogs it is important for her to have a proper introduction to any new dogs. Any dogs in the home will need to come meet Jayne before adoption to make sure the dogs are compatible. 

Jayne can be nervous around new people, but if you go slow, she becomes super lovey-dovey, enjoys giving hugs, and loves having her belly rubbed. Jayne is generally more comfortable with women and would either like a home without men or a home where the men are gentle and patient, giving her lots of personal space and allowing her to come to them on her terms so she can learn to trust them with time.
