Description:
Kiko is a high energy young girl, with a snuggly sweet side when she relaxes. She would really shine with an active family that will get her the exercise and mental stimulation she needs. Kiko is one smart cookie! Did you know that mental exercise will actually tire out a pup like her even more than a run?! Kiko still needs a little help with manners when meeting people, but really we all do after quarantine. Kiko would do best in a home with adults or children in their teens. She prefers a backyard with a 6 foot fence and would not be suitable to live in an apartment! If you are looking for a running partner than look no further and apply today!

The suggested adoption donation for Kiko is $365. Muddy Paws is a 501c3 non-profit organization which means that part of your donation MAY be TAX DEDUCTIBLE. We are a 100% volunteer rescue committed to giving animals a second chance at life. All donations go toward that mission. Adoption fees are the primary source of funding for the cost of veterinary care for our animals. In 2021 alone, we were able to provide animal Healthcare costing over $306,000 covered mainly through adoption fees.

Adoption for Kiko is limited to the area within 50 miles of Omaha so that she can continue to take advantage of free training from our certified positive reinforcement trainer.

Information about the adoption process: All adoptions require a completed ADOPTION APPLICATION. Once your application is approved, we will put you in touch with the animals foster to see if you and the pet are a good match. If so, we will arrange a meeting for you and the animal. The adoptions for all of our animals will take place in the Omaha, NE area and must be done by the adoptive family in person. We do not ship or deliver.

Please Note: We are a RESCUE, which is different from a shelter. We conduct veterinary and personal reference checks during the application approval process. We always select the right applicant for each animal, based on the animals needs. If you and the animal are not a good match, we will help you select another animal, or we will keep your approved application on file for 6 months.

FindpetTM is a Participating Pet Recovery Service Registry for the AAHA Universal Pet Microchip Lookup Tool. AAHA provides an internet-based application that enables veterinarians, humane organizations, pet owners or other persons to search various Pet Recovery Service registries and identify those registries on which a particular microchip is registered. AAHA is not affiliated or involved with any specific microchip registry and has no relationship, financial or otherwise, with this Participating Pet Recovery Service Registry ("Registry"). This Registry has given AAHA permission to search the Registry's database in order to assist pet owners in being reunited with their pets. AAHA does not maintain a database of microchips of its own. It only links to registries such as this one. The AAHA Universal Microchip Lookup Tool only searches the databases of companies that elect to participate in the program.
