Meet Shiloh! This 5 year old, 47 pound Shepherd mix is in need of a new home. She is a very well trained girl that is very loyal to her people. Shiloh was adopted as a young puppy and has been spoiled and loved. As she grew up, they noticed an increasing prey drive with other animals and increased fearfulness with strangers. They acquired training right from the start to teach her basic commands. Shiloh has some uncomfortableness around small children. Ultimately, Shiloh has not adjusted to the addition of an infant which is the primary reason she is looking for a new home now.

Shiloh has been a superb activity buddy. She is a great running partner, loves hiking, and playing frisbee. She is very obedient on walks. She is also a good car rider! She loves her people and is fine with the inner circle of people she has been introduced to. They have always baby gated Shiloh away when new people arrive. She barks, but warms up as they have tossed her some treats. Shiloh has been on a low cost medicine for anxiety and would benefit from staying on this in transition and through adjustment into a new home. (Pawswap will even help with the meds through transition into a new home!)

Shiloh would love a home with teens or adults who would enjoy the companionship of a loyal, well behaved girl. Shiloh knows all her basic commands and is house trained. She is spayed, up to date on vaccines, heartworm negative, and microchipped.

Shilos adoption fee is $150. If interested, please complete an application on our website at

FindpetTM is a Participating Pet Recovery Service Registry for the AAHA Universal Pet Microchip Lookup Tool. AAHA provides an internet-based application that enables veterinarians, humane organizations, pet owners or other persons to search various Pet Recovery Service registries and identify those registries on which a particular microchip is registered. AAHA is not affiliated or involved with any specific microchip registry and has no relationship, financial or otherwise, with this Participating Pet Recovery Service Registry ("Registry"). This Registry has given AAHA permission to search the Registry's database in order to assist pet owners in being reunited with their pets. AAHA does not maintain a database of microchips of its own. It only links to registries such as this one. The AAHA Universal Microchip Lookup Tool only searches the databases of companies that elect to participate in the program.
