Meet Roma! This sweet girl has a long story whos ending is still waiting to be written. Originally, Roma was sentenced to die in a kill shelter for escaping her kennel and destroying blinds and carpet in her previous home. When it was her turn to walk the hallway of no return at the shelter, she escaped her kennel there too. We didnt know if she was alive or not - but we were trying to tag her anyway. We waited and waited for what seemed like forever to know if is she was safe. When she came into our care, she was an angel and got along with all other dogs and was so sweet. She was adopted to a loving home, but her owner unfortunately broke her ankle while they were on a walk and decided she could no longer care for her. We welcomed Roma back with open arms and were very excited to see her again. She is playful and beautiful. She loves everyone and is the best snuggler ever. Unfortunately, she no longer seems to like other dogs and has quite a bit of anxiety. We are working to teach her that her kennel is a safe space, as she still has destructive tendencies if left out while shes alone. She can jump a 6 foot fence so would love an active owner who will take her on lots of walks and runs! She recently had a sleepover and her foster said: "I have had the absolute joy and honor of having a lovely sleepover with the sweetest and gentlest soul- Roma! She has been a delight! I believe shes really enjoyed relaxing & decompressing on the bed, & getting all the attention she can handle from me! She has been an angel. She loves to cuddle & spoon, and get tons of caresses. Roma has been so quiet, calm, and loving- I just cant believe she hasnt found her furever home yet. She is just perfect & magical with the most calming spirit and soul. Please consider adopting or fostering sweet baby girl."
