Poong-ee is a dog meat rescue from Korea. She is approx 2 years old and weighs around 48 lbs. She arrived from Korea in May and has been in a foster home. Shes a bit skittish but is a lot more relaxed around her foster family now. She is food driven so is easier to train. She is great with other dogs but is unknown around cats. Also she needs another dog in the house. She follows them and it helps with her confidence. She loves to play with other dogs. She is shy at first but opens up with time. She has such a silly/goofy personality hidden under her fear but youll see her real personality that will bring so much joy and laughter to the family. The ideal family would be, have experience with shy rescue dogs before so have the understanding it takes a couple of months before the dog shows her own personality and confidence. Must have a 6 very secure fence. Have a resident dog that is friendly to his/her new sister in the house. Have time to give a couple of walks every day. Be ready to commit at least 15 years to their new dog and treat her as part of the family. Requirements: home owner with a secure fenced yard, no young children and must be in a position to offer a lifetime home. Send an email telling us about your family, current and past pets and the environment in which she will live. Include a home phone number. Adoption fee $400

FindpetTM is a Participating Pet Recovery Service Registry for the AAHA Universal Pet Microchip Lookup Tool. AAHA provides an internet-based application that enables veterinarians, humane organizations, pet owners or other persons to search various Pet Recovery Service registries and identify those registries on which a particular microchip is registered. AAHA is not affiliated or involved with any specific microchip registry and has no relationship, financial or otherwise, with this Participating Pet Recovery Service Registry ("Registry"). This Registry has given AAHA permission to search the Registry's database in order to assist pet owners in being reunited with their pets. AAHA does not maintain a database of microchips of its own. It only links to registries such as this one. The AAHA Universal Microchip Lookup Tool only searches the databases of companies that elect to participate in the program.
