Petunia is a petite girl that weighs around 45 lbs. She has a wonderful personality and is a very sweet girl! She loves people and she will give you lots of kisses. She is happy to join you for a long nap, a walk or a car ride. She is a fantastic partner to run errands with; she is patient waiting in drive thru lines and waiting for orders. 
At home she likes to cuddle or just sit close to you. She is happy either way as long as she can be near you. 
Petunia loves her stuffed animals, toys and plays great independently. She has done very well meeting other dogs of all sizes!
One of Petunia/s favorite things to do is play in water, whether it is a sprinkler or splashing in a kiddie pool. She is very entertaining to watch when she is playing in water, her silly side really comes out!
She is food motivated, which helps teaching her new commands. Petunia is very smart! She has learned: sit, lay, stay and attention (to get her attention on walks).
Petunia can get excited, but she is quick to calm down.  She does very well at home while her foster mom is at work (schoolteacher) and she is crate trained/house trained. 
She does get a little nervous during thunderstorms, but if a person is with her, she is reassured. 
Overall, she is a fantastic dog, and she will make a wonderful companion!

*Petunia does seem to be cat tolerant, she is curious about them and may chase, but she has not been aggressive towards any, even when hissed at.
