What a wonderful dog. She came to us with a large litter of babies, and a badly broken leg and pelvis. Once her babies were weaned, she went in for corrective surgery, and her recovery has been remarkable. When she got here she could barely walk, and now she runs like the wind...well a good breeze at least. Although her leg will never be "normal", she is no longer in pain and is a happy girl that never stops wagging her tail. We have not tested her with cats, but Maxine loves all dogs and all people and would fit well in any household. No matter what kind of day you are having, Maxine will put a smile on your face.
