This little girl arrived in rescue with the name of Little Bit. Her name was given to her because the young man who took her in, brought her home at only 5 weeks of age. She was so tiny she fit in the palm of his hand. She has had one obstacle after another thrown at her. As if starting life in the middle of a pandemic wasn’t problematic enough, the young man who brough her home passed away suddenly. His mother took her in, but this lady developed some serious health issues that required her to go into assisted living. At this point, the only option for Little Bit became rescue. Her first two years of life she had little to no contact with people outside her home due to the pandemic. For this reason, she is very timid and unsure of herself. It takes her some time to get to know new people. Once she feels safe, she is very affectionate and loving. After arriving in rescue her name was changed to Lilibet, thinking that being named after royalty might just help to build her confidence. She will just need love and a little patience. Lilibet was born on 4/29/2019 and it is time for her life to truly begin. She is spayed, up to date on vaccinations, heartworm negative, and microchipped. She is a terrier mix and a solid little 34 pound girl. If you have the time, love, and patience to give her, you will be so richly rewarded!! If you are interested in giving Lilibet a loving, secure, forever home, please fill out an adoption application through our website at www.humanesocietycitrus.com and for additional information contact Karron by email at choose2rescue@yahoo.com or call her at 352-586-9699. The adoption donation for Lilibet is $150.00
