Lucy-loo is a 2-3 year old 15lb terrier mix that was found injured in San Bernardino by a Good Samaritan who reached out to Cause for SB Paws. She had been struck by a car and was in need of medical attention and a safe place to call home during recovery.
Thank goodness for Cause Adopters the Hendersons who offerer to foster her. They say:Lucy has been the absolute sweetest pup since she was rescued from the streets. She underwent FHO hip surgery shortly after becoming a Cause Kid and has fully recovered. Lucy doesnt require any medications and is not a special needs pup. She runs, jumps, and plays just like any other dog. You may notice a bit of stiffness in her right leg from time to time, but she loves to sit in your lap and have her hip rubbed.
Lucy has gotten along with all dogs shes come in contact with, and is a great buddy to her human foster brothers that are 5, 7, and 13.
Lucy needs a home with a secured yard space for her to play freely and exercise. Lucys ideal family would be able to provide her lots of lap sitting and scratches, plush toys to snuggle with, and only minimal time alone.
Lucys favorite activity is eating! She treats it like an Olympic sport so Lucys family will want to be prepared to only feed her at meal time.
Lucy has followed her foster mom around since day one and her main goal in life is to have a leg to lean against while getting scratches.
She is truly a dream pet for a family ready to share their home and their love.
Bonus: Lucy is fully house broken and has not had any accidents inside with her foster family (but of course adopters should expect mistakes and commit to potty training).
