ELIGIBLE APPLICANTS live within 30 mins of Tulsa, have a secure, privacy fence around the entire back yard and a solid vet reference.

Meet the sweetest boy ever, Zeus. A 4 yr old American Bulldog/Sharpei mix of 72 lbs. This docile and loving boy was left to fend for himself in a neighborhood for two years. Other remaining family members fed him occasionally, and knew he was there needing a home, but didnt take him in. A dear friend of ours helped, gained trust, and today he is in a foster home doing amazing.

Zeus was an owned pet at one time, from the time he was a puppy until about 2 years old, then poof, they moved and left him. He is short and stocky, not overly large, so dont let that weight intimidate you.

This is one of those dogs you call resilient. Resilient to humans who dont care and who dont treat their pets like family members. He is forgiving, loving and simply an amazing dog.

Please note that we would like to place Zeus in a home with another dog. He loves them and he loves to play. It helps him to feel secure with another doggie in his life. A dog 25 lbs or more would be great for him!

Zeus is friendly and affectionate once he knows you. He is quicker to trust with women versus men, so that is an area we are working on ... he has acclimated to his foster home very quickly and nicely. He is playful, animated and happy to be at the party!

He is house trained, crate trained, LOVES to play with other dogs. He is fine with small, medium and large sized dogs, but due to his size, he will play safest with a dog 35 lbs and up!

Zeus is also fine with cats. He is a gentle boy. Actually, Zeus thinks he is about 20 lbs. He would love to cuddle with you on the couch and he leans on you for love. We keep telling him he is a tad larger than 20 lbs!

He has not been around young children, but dog savvy kids who are a little older would be fine with him.

For a doggo who has been ignored for a couple of years, he is doing incredibly well. In his foster home, he acts like he has been here for months, yet its only been a few weeks.

Zeus is healthy and up to date on all vaccines, fecal exam, he is neutered and microchipped.

Now, he needs some applicants! So, check him out today, call about him and give him a chance. He will do best in a home with another dog, in home setting with a fenced in yard versus an apartment and if we can find a man-free home, that would be FANTASTIC.

Check him out today, trust us, he wont disappoint!

FindpetTM is a Participating Pet Recovery Service Registry for the AAHA Universal Pet Microchip Lookup Tool. AAHA provides an internet-based application that enables veterinarians, humane organizations, pet owners or other persons to search various Pet Recovery Service registries and identify those registries on which a particular microchip is registered. AAHA is not affiliated or involved with any specific microchip registry and has no relationship, financial or otherwise, with this Participating Pet Recovery Service Registry ("Registry"). This Registry has given AAHA permission to search the Registry's database in order to assist pet owners in being reunited with their pets. AAHA does not maintain a database of microchips of its own. It only links to registries such as this one. The AAHA Universal Microchip Lookup Tool only searches the databases of companies that elect to participate in the program.
