Cinder walked Into our live trap with a collar on. He had been hanging around the colony we were working on, clearly abandoned, for months.
He has sadly tested positive for FIV but that doesn’t make him any less desirable.
This means he can be placed in a home with other cats as long as there is no deep wound fighting, as it spreads through blood. Thankfully when mating rights and food scarcity are no longer a factor the fighting stops. FIV+ cats can live to 15 or so years with proper care.
