Description:
BARC introduces SPARKY! Sparky is a 10 month old Staffordshire Terrier / Old English Bulldog mix. He lost his home and found a good Sam who took him him. Sparky is a high energy pup who has been leash trained and knows basic commands to sit and lie. Obviously, he was a much loved pet at one time. He is too high energy for small children, but would make an older child, perhaps a teen, a best friend. Or, he would be a good companion for an only adult who wanted to feel safe. Sparky does seem to know when someone is not worthy of trust and is protective. Because of this, he requires a proper introduction. It took rescue 5 minutes and a hotdog to win his love and trust. He loves leash walks and does well with the foster dads other dogs and cats. He does need a fenced yard for safe play. Sparky is completely vetted and microchipped. FindpetTM is a Participating Pet Recovery Service Registry for the AAHA Universal Pet Microchip Lookup Tool. AAHA provides an internet-based application that enables veterinarians, humane organizations, pet owners or other persons to search various Pet Recovery Service registries and identify those registries on which a particular microchip is registered. AAHA is not affiliated or involved with any specific microchip registry and has no relationship, financial or otherwise, with this Participating Pet Recovery Service Registry ("Registry"). This Registry has given AAHA permission to search the Registry's database in order to assist pet owners in being reunited with their pets. AAHA does not maintain a database of microchips of its own. It only links to registries such as this one. The AAHA Universal Microchip Lookup Tool only searches the databases of companies that elect to participate in the program.
