American Staffordshire Terrier
Coat length:
Meet Bucky, a 60lb, male, American Pit Bull Terrier and American Staffordshire Terrier mix who was born early June 2021.

Bucky originally came to Mutt Misfits as a bottle baby in the summer of 2021 but was recently returned due to his human childโ€™s allergies. He does not currently have any medical conditions that require attention. Heโ€™s a happy, healthy pup!

Bucky is house trained and kennel trained. He is treat and praise motivated so he is a quick learner. He is beginning to learn the basics with his foster. He does well on the leash and is not afraid of a walk but he does pull on occasion. He would benefit from a home that will continue routine and training basic manners/commands.

Bucky is a medium energy young adult dog. He is good with cats and dogs of all ages and sizes. He has a fairly submissive personality but can play hard. He would love another dog friend in the house but lived as an only dog in his previous home. He does not currently live with children but has lived with them in the past and does great with kids he meets at events.

Bucky is a a very loving and sweet boy. He loves being with his humans on the couch or playing outside. He also enjoys rough housing with his foster brothers and playing with all the plush toys. Bucky prefers to nap wherever his human is or on the couch. He would love a home where he can continue to grow as a couch potato.

FindpetTM is a Participating Pet Recovery Service Registry for the AAHA Universal Pet Microchip Lookup Tool. AAHA provides an internet-based application that enables veterinarians, humane organizations, pet owners or other persons to search various Pet Recovery Service registries and identify those registries on which a particular microchip is registered. AAHA is not affiliated or involved with any specific microchip registry and has no relationship, financial or otherwise, with this Participating Pet Recovery Service Registry ("Registry"). This Registry has given AAHA permission to search the Registry's database in order to assist pet owners in being reunited with their pets. AAHA does not maintain a database of microchips of its own. It only links to registries such as this one. The AAHA Universal Microchip Lookup Tool only searches the databases of companies that elect to participate in the program.
