This bonded pair are actually rare Central Asian Shepherds, which is a guardian breed similar, but far less common, than Anatolians.
Unfortunately they were previously with very neglectful owners. They were taken by Fulton Co GA. Animal control twice. Thankfully animal control finally got it that they were awful owners and didnt release them the 2nd time.
They are both heartworm positive and have started the slow kill treatment several months ago. Moe, the male also has a limp when he runs too much. His new safe haven is an amazing place but hes in a large yard and to run more than what he probably should for the moment. He will always (both really need) to be on Glucosamine for joints. His elbows have rough skin pockets from being on concrete and malnourished.
They are funny dogs that love attention and belly rubs. They play together very sweetly and we would love to keep them together.
They are Guardian dogs that will bark at "strangers" until properly introduced and need owners that understand this wonderful breed.
If interested in them please fill out an application on our website. Direct any questions to

FindpetTM is a Participating Pet Recovery Service Registry for the AAHA Universal Pet Microchip Lookup Tool. AAHA provides an internet-based application that enables veterinarians, humane organizations, pet owners or other persons to search various Pet Recovery Service registries and identify those registries on which a particular microchip is registered. AAHA is not affiliated or involved with any specific microchip registry and has no relationship, financial or otherwise, with this Participating Pet Recovery Service Registry ("Registry"). This Registry has given AAHA permission to search the Registry's database in order to assist pet owners in being reunited with their pets. AAHA does not maintain a database of microchips of its own. It only links to registries such as this one. The AAHA Universal Microchip Lookup Tool only searches the databases of companies that elect to participate in the program.
