· Bio:
I am the best sort of Aussie mix with my pointy ears, beautiful markings and a happy prance that shows how full of joy I am. I am blind but I map new spaces quickly (like, within minutes), and quickly make people forget I even have a disability. My back legs don’t work quite like they should, (I’m going to see a vet soon about that!) but it doesn’t limit my mobility at all. I love to jump like a kangaroo when I play... my foster mom nickname is for me Rue.
Despite my cuteness, I was dumped by someone who didn’t appreciate how special I was. They left me and my sister in a box at a pet cemetery in Texas. Can you imagine how scared we were? I was very happy when some kind rescue folks found me and helped me get to Speak! for the Unspoken.
Now let’s talk about the perfect home for me. First of all, I LOVE kids and play nicely with the kids in my foster home. I like other dogs, too! Because my back end is a bit weak, I might not prefer a very large or rough playing dog-friend, but my foster home has lots of dogs and I like to play with them but need to understand when some have had enough of me. I don’t really care for cats much.
I will need exercise, playtime, and socialization as I grow into a confident, well-rounded boy. My foster mom says my happy prance walk makes her laugh so hard! I sleep all night in my crate and am doing very well potty training.
I am neutered and up to date on all vaccines and ready for adoption. Im currently being fostered in Troy IL
I’ve come a long way since my days of being dumped in a box in a cemetery; I’m hoping my forever home is my last stop on this journey!
