How this pet arrived: This pet was brought in by their previous owner on July 13, 2022. At SDHS:This pet has been vaccinated, microchipped and neutered. This pet is now ready for their new home! Why this pet is the one for you:What a man, what a man, what a man...what a mighty good man! This cute songbird is Pepper and he cant wait for you to hear his songs. We dont have any evidence that Pepper didnt try out for Salt-N-Pepa, although he still practices each day. When Pepper isnt serenading his caregivers, you can find him lounging in his cat tree or watching the critters pass by the window. This sweet boy has become a favorite here at the shelter, but you guessed it...Pepper has some SPICE to him. Our team has been working hard to help Pepper adjust to shelter living and would love to share what we have learned about this guy. Pepper will appreciate a patient and respectful adopter that can give him the time and space to adjust into a new home. If you think you might be a good fit for this superstar, come meet him today! FindpetTM is a Participating Pet Recovery Service Registry for the AAHA Universal Pet Microchip Lookup Tool. AAHA provides an internet-based application that enables veterinarians, humane organizations, pet owners or other persons to search various Pet Recovery Service registries and identify those registries on which a particular microchip is registered. AAHA is not affiliated or involved with any specific microchip registry and has no relationship, financial or otherwise, with this Participating Pet Recovery Service Registry ("Registry"). This Registry has given AAHA permission to search the Registry's database in order to assist pet owners in being reunited with their pets. AAHA does not maintain a database of microchips of its own. It only links to registries such as this one. The AAHA Universal Microchip Lookup Tool only searches the databases of companies that elect to participate in the program.
