Cedar Rapids, IA, 52404
Pet name:
Border Collie
Coat length:
We rescued Tony as he was a stray pup trying to survive the streets of Texas with infected wounds and lacerations to his body and face as well as heartworms. With daily medication and wound cleansing, he is healing beautifully! Tony is an approx 5 year old male, Aussie/Border Collie Mix, good with dogs/kids, and a very sweet and handsome boy!! He enjoys affection and will nudge your hand with his nose for more pets. Tony has been started on heartworm treatment, is utd on routine care, and scheduled to be neutered in 3 weeks.

Tony is available through our foster to adopt program where the interested adopter would foster Tony through his heartworm treatment (3 months/treatment covered by rescue) and adoption finalized once completed. Tony is also available to foster and is currently in Texas, but can be transported to Iowa the first week of October. If interested please send us a message or email, thank you!!

FindpetTM is a Participating Pet Recovery Service Registry for the AAHA Universal Pet Microchip Lookup Tool. AAHA provides an internet-based application that enables veterinarians, humane organizations, pet owners or other persons to search various Pet Recovery Service registries and identify those registries on which a particular microchip is registered. AAHA is not affiliated or involved with any specific microchip registry and has no relationship, financial or otherwise, with this Participating Pet Recovery Service Registry ("Registry"). This Registry has given AAHA permission to search the Registry's database in order to assist pet owners in being reunited with their pets. AAHA does not maintain a database of microchips of its own. It only links to registries such as this one. The AAHA Universal Microchip Lookup Tool only searches the databases of companies that elect to participate in the program.
