Meet Griffin! Unfortunately, Griffin was found along with his sister Ginger left behind in a locked crate with no food or water, and sitting in filth. Thankfully, they were found in time, but not before contracting the often deadly virus, parvo. But these two were fighters and with a lot of help from our vet partners in Louisiana, they have been nursed back to perfect health and are preparing for a new life ahead of them as part of loving families in the northeast! Now in a loving foster home, they are receiving their proper vaccinations, deworming, and learning how to be part of a loving household. These two are just about ready to come north. Griffin is a handsome, likely border collie or rough collie mix. He is a very affectionate and playful guy - he instigates all the rough housing with his sister and loves to sneak her toys away! His favorite pass-times are running and playing, vying for his peoples attention, and then sitting at their feet when its time to snuggle. His only dislike so far is being left alone, cant blame him for that after what hes been through.
Griffin and his sister have met and lived with other dogs and are agreeable to it, though they have never met cats. They also love the young children in the family and have done well with them.
As a young puppy, Griffin will need all the love, patience and training young puppies need to become well mannered adult dogs. In return, his family will receive unconditional love and affection and a forever playmate!

FindpetTM is a Participating Pet Recovery Service Registry for the AAHA Universal Pet Microchip Lookup Tool. AAHA provides an internet-based application that enables veterinarians, humane organizations, pet owners or other persons to search various Pet Recovery Service registries and identify those registries on which a particular microchip is registered. AAHA is not affiliated or involved with any specific microchip registry and has no relationship, financial or otherwise, with this Participating Pet Recovery Service Registry ("Registry"). This Registry has given AAHA permission to search the Registry's database in order to assist pet owners in being reunited with their pets. AAHA does not maintain a database of microchips of its own. It only links to registries such as this one. The AAHA Universal Microchip Lookup Tool only searches the databases of companies that elect to participate in the program.
