Description:
Stretched out comfortably on the bed covers, 12-year-old Taco is awaiting his foster moms arrival for the attention and affection he adores. At a petite 8 pounds, this sweet senior who lives to love and be loved, loves resting his head on her, rolling over for belly rubs, and being snuggled, petted, and stroked. He also loves taking walks -- several miles at a time - and he not only walks very well on a leash, but he also loves everyone he meets, especially people who are easygoing and calm. Interacting equally well with his doggy foster sister and the few dogs hes met, he may not know any commands, but hes motivated by LOVE and enjoys small pieces of kibble as treats, accepting them gently. Diligently at work with his devoted foster mom on building his confidence (his original owners death left him fearful of being alone), he now remains quietly on his own for between one and three hours, and is almost fully house-trained. Now for Taco to thrive, hell do best in a tranquil and loving home with someone there more often than not to continue building his confidence and take him on the long walks he adores in exchange for his own abundant adoration and LOVE.

FindpetTM is a Participating Pet Recovery Service Registry for the AAHA Universal Pet Microchip Lookup Tool. AAHA provides an internet-based application that enables veterinarians, humane organizations, pet owners or other persons to search various Pet Recovery Service registries and identify those registries on which a particular microchip is registered. AAHA is not affiliated or involved with any specific microchip registry and has no relationship, financial or otherwise, with this Participating Pet Recovery Service Registry ("Registry"). This Registry has given AAHA permission to search the Registry's database in order to assist pet owners in being reunited with their pets. AAHA does not maintain a database of microchips of its own. It only links to registries such as this one. The AAHA Universal Microchip Lookup Tool only searches the databases of companies that elect to participate in the program.
