Meet Chicken Nugget!
This adorable 9 week old puppy joined our ALDR family this week with his sister after our county shelter asked for help with them. They were surrendered to the shelter after the people who had their parents dumped them on a neighbor by asking them to watch the puppies for a few days and never came back for them weeks later. They have moved into wonderful foster homes where they have settled in well and are getting lots of TLC, working on socialization and getting all medical care needed.
We were told they were chihuahua/pit mixes so no telling how big Chicken Nugget will get. As with any puppy, hes still learning boundaries and manners but so far hes been good with everyone hes met. He doesnt quite understand personal space yet so everyone has to watch their feet and faces. He is a happy, bouncy puppy that loves toys, especially cat toys.
If interested in adopting please fill out the adoption application on our website at animalluvrs.org under the ADOPT tab. We will require veterinary, personal and property references that we will verify. Feel free to email us at firstname.lastname@example.org for more information.
All of our adoptable rescues have a clean bill of health (unless otherwise stated), are spayed/neutered, vaccinated (age-appropriately), tested (FeLV/FIV for cats, HW for dogs over 6 months of age), current on flea and heartworm prevention and microchipped. This is all included in their adoption fee that goes in as a donation to help us cover their medical costs and continue to help other animals in need. Any questions, concerns and suggestions, please feel free to contact us at ALDR@animalluvrs.org.
