Description:
Hi there, my name is Chip and I am a very sweet little Chihuahua mix about 2 years old and 12 lbs. I was a stray dog found scared and alone in Texas, taken to a local animal shelter, and then rescued by 4 Little Paws. I was fostered at a doggy daycare in San Antonio and made lots of new friends until I was adopted and moved to Connecticut. That all happened a couple of months ago and I have been doing great with my new owner, so why am I here telling you my life story? My new owner is a military man and unexpectedly put on an assignment where he will need to leave me behind. He says I am a wonderful dog but because I’m still fairly new it will be better for me to find a more stable family to fall in love with. And that’s exactly what I’m planning to do. I’m loving and sweet and cuddly, and I get along great with everyone. I make an excellent playmate with other dogs and I made quite an impression at my old daycare when I became one of the staffs favorites. Not only did I play nicely with all the other rescue dogs, but I’m also just an all-around easy dog, easy to love, and easy to make friends with, and I dont even mind wearing a t-shirt. I will need only a little encouragement at our first meeting but from that point on, your heart will belong to me and mine to you! I am doing great with potty training and leash walking lessons, but a little more practice wouldnt hurt. Since I’m already in Connecticut it’ll be easy to meet me if you live anywhere nearby. Dont forget to pack a cookie in your pocket when you stop by. Why?... You will just seem like the coolest person ever, to whip a doggy cookie out of your pocket just for me! :-)
