PENDING ADOPTION. Meet Opie the puppy!  This cutie pie is less than a year old and about 20 lbs (and underweight) and has a full tail.  He was left on the side of the road and was on his own outside for about a month before a Good Samaritan was able to coax him into her yard and then get him to a friend of our rescue.  Opie gets along with all people and other dogs.  We don’t know about cats or kids yet. He is very sweet and loves to cuddle and be loved on. 
As a result of being abandoned he has some separation anxiety so we are looking for a home with another doggie sibling and a fenced-in yard where he feels safe and can come right back indoors where it’s cool and comfy. He rides well in the car and is working on his house training and doing well.  He likes to chew and play with toys.
