Description:
Charles loves his toys and he is a big baby at approximately six years old and 70 pounds. Charles is housebroken, crate trained, barks ALOT so he needs a lot of space. Charles is neutered, current on vaccinations and heartworm preventative. Charles appears to be good with indoor cats however, will chase cats relentlessly if outdoors. He would be best in a home with no cats, or a home where any cats are strictly indoors,

With the Covid-19 situation, FURS has temporarily stopped our weekly adoption stands. We can make alternate arrangements for meeting the FURS dogs but would require an approved application for adoption. There is no fee or obligation with submitting an adoption application and applications can be completed on line at www.fursdogs.com

A required step of our adoption process is to conduct a home visit. Since FURS is a very small, all-volunteer rescue, we can only support our adoption process to homes in the Richmond, VA and surrounding localities area

FindpetTM is a Participating Pet Recovery Service Registry for the AAHA Universal Pet Microchip Lookup Tool. AAHA provides an internet-based application that enables veterinarians, humane organizations, pet owners or other persons to search various Pet Recovery Service registries and identify those registries on which a particular microchip is registered. AAHA is not affiliated or involved with any specific microchip registry and has no relationship, financial or otherwise, with this Participating Pet Recovery Service Registry ("Registry"). This Registry has given AAHA permission to search the Registry's database in order to assist pet owners in being reunited with their pets. AAHA does not maintain a database of microchips of its own. It only links to registries such as this one. The AAHA Universal Microchip Lookup Tool only searches the databases of companies that elect to participate in the program.
