Description:
Unicorn(Uni) is an 8 month old Coton de Tulear. We do not have papers on him but have no reason to question his breed). Hes an affectionate boy but very shy. Hes living with several other dogs but is still learning how to interact with them. Its obvious that he did not get socialized properly with people or other dogs as a young puppy. He needs a home that will work with him to develop proper social skills so that he can develop the confidence he needs. He follows his foster mom around and tries to grab the back of a pantleg but will bolt when you reach for him. Because he is shy and will not come when called we believe he needs a fenced yard for safety. He is working on house training but his anxious behavior makes him forget what he is supposed to be doing. He will be a great dog but needs someone with patience and some experience in training.

If interested please fill out the online application at www,cofas.org. All of our animals are in foster homes and we do not set up meet and greets until we have an approved application on hand.

FindpetTM is a Participating Pet Recovery Service Registry for the AAHA Universal Pet Microchip Lookup Tool. AAHA provides an internet-based application that enables veterinarians, humane organizations, pet owners or other persons to search various Pet Recovery Service registries and identify those registries on which a particular microchip is registered. AAHA is not affiliated or involved with any specific microchip registry and has no relationship, financial or otherwise, with this Participating Pet Recovery Service Registry ("Registry"). This Registry has given AAHA permission to search the Registry's database in order to assist pet owners in being reunited with their pets. AAHA does not maintain a database of microchips of its own. It only links to registries such as this one. The AAHA Universal Microchip Lookup Tool only searches the databases of companies that elect to participate in the program.
