LOOKING FOR A SPECIAL HOME for a SPECIAL CAT!
Mellow-D is a very gentle quiet kitty who was abandoned in March of 2012 just before the last snow storm in our village. We were able to trap him at our local mill and it only took 5 min for him to get into the cage as he was completely starved! We would never have guessed by the state he was in being about 6 months then, short haired and emaciated that he would turn into this gorgeous Coon and we believe he is as close to a pure Coon as we have seen.
He is now plump and happy. He would thrive best in a quiet home as either an only cat or with one of his friends here or your quiet laid back cat. In early 2017 he was diagnosed with stomitis (pls google) however this has not yet necessitated dental surgery but he requires medication ongoing which is easy to administer, otherwise he is very healthy. He would greatly benefit with a special diet but our shelter struggles to get by and this is not possible for us to provide.. He is quite affectionate and loving and a real beauty in person. Mellow-D is neutered and vaccinated. We will give you the details of why we name him Mellow-D when you meet him.
