Chungus is a 3-4 year old male cat who is now ready for adoption! He was found as a stray in Spencer County and has COMPLETELY won over the hearts of all our staff at the rescue center. He is a thick boy, who could use a little extra activity in his life. Chungus is a HUGE fan of snuggling and even enjoys being cradled like a baby on his back! In fact, he forces you to do so when you pick him up. He has started stroller rides throughout the facility and is happy as a peacock when he sees his favorite kennel tech get it down for him! He is an adult cat that knows what he wants and is very vocal explaining things exactly how they should be done if he isnt impressed. Our staff understands this, and found it quite humorous when they found a stuffy toy that looked JUST LIKE HIM! He wasnt amused at first, but now he uses it as a pillow and always has a friend with something in common to hang with. We havent found a cat at the rescue center that Chungus has clicked with, but this guy is so full of personality that surely he will fill your life with happiness, all on his own! Please apply at if you want to add a little Chungus to your life.
All of our cats are examined by a veterinarian, given age-appropriate vaccinations, dewormed, microchipped, and spayed or neutered.

FindpetTM is a Participating Pet Recovery Service Registry for the AAHA Universal Pet Microchip Lookup Tool. AAHA provides an internet-based application that enables veterinarians, humane organizations, pet owners or other persons to search various Pet Recovery Service registries and identify those registries on which a particular microchip is registered. AAHA is not affiliated or involved with any specific microchip registry and has no relationship, financial or otherwise, with this Participating Pet Recovery Service Registry ("Registry"). This Registry has given AAHA permission to search the Registry's database in order to assist pet owners in being reunited with their pets. AAHA does not maintain a database of microchips of its own. It only links to registries such as this one. The AAHA Universal Microchip Lookup Tool only searches the databases of companies that elect to participate in the program.
