Meelo was almost left behind. We were originally given his 3 sisters because they were a little friendlier and easier to handle- and its known that black cats are the least adopted and the most euthanized in shelters. After being separated a week because he was initially deemed "too feral to adopt, we decided it was important to give Meelo a chance, too. After just one week in foster care, he is already learning to trust humans, can be petted and super purry/affectionate with the right approach. Meelo is arguably the most affectionate of his litter, hes just a little shy. With some patience, persistence, and a gentle approach, he is already turning into a very sweet little boy. Adoption fee for this cat includes FVRCP vaccine, FIV/FELV testing, spay/neuter surgery, deworming, Rabies vaccine (if age appropriate) wellness vet visit, one month of pet insurance and microchip. All animals are examined by a veterinarian.
