Ganesh arrived in November 2021 after being rescued from the street in the St. Michael neighborhood. Ganesh, after receiving all the necessary care, is now doing very well and is ready to find a family! Affected by the feline immunodeficiency virus (FIV), he had severe stomatitis which required the extraction of most of his teeth. He can now eat without pain, both kibble and canned food. For more information about FIV: https://www.vet.cornell.edu/departments-centers-and-institutes/cornell-feline-health-center/health-information/feline-health-topics/feline-immunodeficiency-virus-fiv Ganesh is an adorable cat who loves to cuddle. He rolls over when you come to give him a cuddle when he is comfortable in his little bed. He is still active since he is a young adult. It will therefore be necessary to provide him with the mental stimulation necessary for his well-being. Ganesh can be picked up, but he doesnt like to be held for too long. Ganesh is an adult cat so the adoption fees for him are $270. He is sterilized, vaccinated and microchipped. He is positive for the feline immunodeficiency virus (FIV) but negative for the feline leukaemia virus (FeLV). Health insurances are offered for the first 6 weeks following adoption. You will also have access to the help of the adoption team as long as you need it. You will also have access, during the first month after the adoption, to a 30-minute video consultation with our cat behaviour consultant FelineGood (https://www.felinegood.ca).

In order to get a chance to adopt him, please fill out our adoption directly on our website: https://www.reseausecoursanimal.org/contacts/adoption-form/

FindpetTM is a Participating Pet Recovery Service Registry for the AAHA Universal Pet Microchip Lookup Tool. AAHA provides an internet-based application that enables veterinarians, humane organizations, pet owners or other persons to search various Pet Recovery Service registries and identify those registries on which a particular microchip is registered. AAHA is not affiliated or involved with any specific microchip registry and has no relationship, financial or otherwise, with this Participating Pet Recovery Service Registry ("Registry"). This Registry has given AAHA permission to search the Registry's database in order to assist pet owners in being reunited with their pets. AAHA does not maintain a database of microchips of its own. It only links to registries such as this one. The AAHA Universal Microchip Lookup Tool only searches the databases of companies that elect to participate in the program.
