Description:
My name is Patches! I am an awesome little boy who would prefer a home with two or more cats ideally. I can be nervous and skittish with people still at times and I dont like sudden movements or very loud noises. I love to give cuddles and rub on your feet. I will give you little love nips on your toes that may surprise you but Im only giving you love not biting. I like to sleep on the table beside the bed at night. Im also a fan of getting in the bathtub to drink water sometimes. I need someone and a family whos going to give me a lot of time to adjust and be calm and gentle with me. If you say my name Patches or Patchy P before you come towards me or as you enter a room I am less likely to be as nervous once I get to know you. I really love hitting little toy balls around. I also love crinkle tubes. Im not one to come up to you for love as often unless youre walking around but I do like being held and picked up sometimes for now. Im a calm, independent boy and love to be a part of a big cat crew. If you are someone who can be patient and calm and loving with me and understand my weird habits I will love you forever! Please slow introduce me to your kitties if you have a lot of them! Patches will be attending our adoption event on Wednesday, 6-8pm and Saturday, 12-4pm, PetSmart, Bleachery Blvd. Apply to adopt to schedule a meet and greet. His brother is Tsunami. Get $50 off the combined adoption fee when adopting a pair of kittens. All cats and kittens have been spayed/neutered, FELV/FIV tested, microchipped, vaccinated (whatever they can have in the period they are in our care, some will still need additional vaccines after adoption), given dewormer and flea preventative and provided care for any known illnesses during their time with us.

All Mountain Pet Rescue (Asheville) animals are up-to-date on vaccinations, spayed/neutered and micro-chipped before adoption. Contact the foster parent or Mountain Pet Rescue at pets@mpravl.org for more information.

Please note that visual breed identification of companion animals has been proven to be unreliable, so for most of our animals we provide a best guess at predominant breed or breed mix. We get to know each of our animals as an individual and do our best to describe and place pets based on personality not breed label.

Mountain Pet Rescue is a 501(c)(3) non-profit tax deductible charity (EIN 82-3039637) located in Asheville, NC.
