Are you looking for a cuddler and an adventurer? This handsome boy with a boopable black spot on his nose wants pets and snuggles the minute you walk through the door. He loves to be held and welcomes kisses—as soon as you scoop him up his purr box turns on. He is also a fan of being up on your shoulders and will attempt to get there on his own if you dont assist. After several minutes of cuddling, Chip is then ready for playtime! His favorite toy is a bunch of feathers attached to a long string that he will chase around the room for what feels like hours. He loves running around with Ranger, his little gray brother (from another mother) and is not shy about initiating play. He has a lot of energy and doesnt let anything get in his way; he is very much an explorer and likes new challenges, including the high jump onto ever taller things. He constantly wags his skinny tail like a dog. Chip isnt a conversationalist but will give you the occasional chirp.

A good Samaritan found Chip and brought him to STAF as a fragile, three-week-old-kitten. He is now thriving and is a well-adjusted and adaptable boy we expect to do well in a variety of situations. Initially, Chip had a little exposure to a calm older dog, and while in foster he also met children. He was unfazed by these experiences and is tolerant. When introduced to Ranger, the two became instant friends so we hope you may consider the two as a loving pair. Chip is curious and friendly with other cats. He is a great all-around boy, primed for the wonderful road that lies ahead!

Cat adoption information and application can be found at www.staf.org.
All cats and kittens have been vet-checked, spayed/neutered, and are up-to-date on vaccinations. Adoption fee includes carrier, scratching pad, starter pack of food and litter, and toy. We prefer kittens be adopted in pairs. We offer free advice anytime about your adopted cat. If, for any reason, it doesnt work out, we will take the cat back, anytime in the future. Potential adopters must be interviewed in person, at the shelter, and live within 150 miles of Cincinnati. We will ask you to return to the shelter for a second visit to be sure of your decision. Sorry, we do not ship our cats or kittens! Please email Jean at jean@staf.org for more info. on adopting!
